New addition to the WADs Xplory Family
I got them from www.lullabys.co.uk and I can not explain how good the service here was. I rang up to place my order, you can also order online, and the lady was lovely. The next morning the set was with me...now that really is amazing service for you.
LULLABYS don't only do Stokke merchandise they do everything baby and mum related, pretty much! If any of you are doing up a nursery or a childs bedroom you really must go and see their Teamson range of furniture here how cute are the butterfly chairs and bookcase.....my next things on the list :)
So anyway I'm sure you all want to see a picture of the Forest Cream in action? here you go:

The Cries of Colic
The absolute best advice I can give (and it's not really what you want to hear) is to sit it out, it will get better in time, generally around 3 months of age. But I am one to talk, I tried everything when BB was suffering.
So for anyone out there in the same situation right now here are the things we tried.
-Infacol - Didn't help, even our doctor said it's a big con.
-Gripe Water - Worked for a day then lost it's effect but it is all natural so the best of the bunch.
-Colief - didn't work, another money maker and con.
-Dr Brown Bottles - These get the thumbs up, especially if you have a sucky baby.

My Weekend & The Stokke Xplory

Life has been pretty crazy recently, hence the lack of blog posts. Baby Belle is 7 Months old and that time has just flown. She makes me smile everyday and she is just the cutest thing ever (I am biased of course), I almost want to go wake her up right now for a cuddle!
As anyone who follows me on Twitter will know I have been looking to buy a Stokke Xplory stroller for a week or two. I had never really heard of them before until @mummytips @omgmummy and @soph4soph mentioned them and raved about how good they were.
So Hubby, Baby Belle & I went off on Saturday (with a bit of arm twisting) to try it out...it was instant love :) and so we got it. By the time we got home it was very late as we had made a day of it and gone out for lunch etc, so I didn't have a chance to take it out the box.
I love Sunday mornings as I get a lie in and hubby came upstairs and woke me with this Watch Video on youtube here
or here...
Hubby's friend was staying with us for the weekend so they both said they would go to Cambridge for the day with Baby Belle and road test the Xplory. He came back that evening with a churpy smiley baby, some flowers for me, a cute love book (bless him) and soo many good things to say about the Xplory...men raving about a pushchair? I kid you not! That must prove its worth right!

A Mummys Poem
I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play
Because children grow up while your'e not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby and babies don't keep.

Simple Human
simplehuman do Luxury Housewares and their products are stunning, check them out at http://www.simplehuman.co.uk/. I had a look on their website and chose the deluxe rectangular recycler. This particular model retails at £124.99 and although it sounds like a lot of money, for what is essentially a bin, read on to see why I 100% think it is worth every penny.
We recycle whatever we can in our household and before we got this we had a seperate bin for recycling and one for general waste, well this combines the two and looks super stylish too. Before I say anymore here are some pics of it in our kitchen:
Why I think it is worth the money:
- fingerprint-proof finish on stainless steel - This really works, we tried to get fingerprints on it but they just don't show up!
- silent, slow close lid - Great so small children don't get fingers trapped, the lid closes so slowly.
- Super easy to empty - You can just pull out the inserts or bag.
- 10 year warranty
- Looks lovely!
Also you don't have to use the recycle part for recycling you could use it for food waste instead, if you compost. Also they do free delivery for anything over £49 which is great value for such a heavy item.
Because I have only good things to say I feel I'm not telling the truth but I really have nothing negative to say about this. Simplehuman sell bin liners to fit the bin too and they are not much more expensive then average bin liners but if you like to bargain hunt like me then you can still use your own run of the mill ones, they will fit, not perfectly but well enough.
They also sent me this twin soap dispenser which retails at £49.99 and again I can't fault it.
It fits in a bottle of shampoo easily and loads of bodywash or soap, whatever you want! And you can control how much you want out.
There is also a hook on the side for a razor, it is super easy to put up and apparently rust resistant. And again, as with all their items, don't they look lush! I will definitely be buying more from their range!
simplehuman also have a blog http://blog.simplehuman.com
