We have an amazing prompt this week for The Gallery. And we will even be having our work showcased in a Live Exhibition by PhotoBox at Cybermummy too. The prompt is MOTHERHOOD.
I have chosen these two photos because for me Motherhood isn't just about those first few moments but it is a never ending journey. Everyday I look at my daughter and I realise how she copies me and my actions and now she has started holding my hand to walk with me. She is yet to let go and walk alone but I know it will not be long now until she takes those first few steps without me. This is just the beginning of her finding her own path in life.
First Steps: A helping hand on the bridge to life
My husband took this just a week ago and it was our daughters first time she walked. She was so excited and looking at this picture just fills me with happiness.
Listening, Learning & Taking it in
Reading is one of our favourite pastimes and BB loves books so much. This picture was taken by my husband when BB was 5 months old, I love the way she looks from me to the book as I am reading.
Omg those are such amazing photos - you and your daughter are beautiful :-) I love the b & w ones but all of them sum up motherhood perfectly .
