Maternity Chic : Isabella Oliver Maternity Wear

Being 31 weeks pregnant means that it is a struggle to fit into 'normal' clothes now but luckily one of my favourite maternity brands, Isabella Oliver, still has an array of gorgeous outfits.  I already own some of their jeans and tops and they are fantastic!  So when I was given the chance to review one of their dresses I was a very happy bunny.

I decided on the Ruched Tank Dress as I had seen Reese Witherspoon in this.  It is such a versatile dress as it can be dressed up or down.  It comes in three colours but I picked Pink Rose in the hope of a bit of sun this summer!

The fit is amazing and it it not at all tight or uncomfortable. Essentially it looks fitted whilst not being fitted, if that makes sense!  Also because it is ruched you can wear it below or above the knee which is great.

Here I have dressed it up with a necklace and heels but it is just as great on a summers day with flip flops, which let's face it girls ARE the footwear of choice when in the final trimester!

The price tag on this dress is usually £99 but Isabella Oliver have a sale on at the moment and it is down at £66 so go and grab yourself a bargain. It really is such a versatile dress and well worth the investment, as are all of their range.

Magpie Makeover Monday : Bracelet Stand

Even if I had all the money in the world I would still love looking around charity shops and I have been meaning to go to some car-boot sales for years.  There is something about them that reminds me of an Aladdin's cave.  I also love to customise things.  I have done this since I was a little girl.  Whether it be clothes, a bag or making my own jewellery I always love to put my own touch on things.

I found this bangle stand on ebay for a couple pounds and seeing as the majority of our rooms tend to be shabby chic in style the dark brown wood just didn't go.  So with a small pot of Farrow & Ball paint in French Grey (which came with my new kitchen dresser) I decided to give it a quick makeover.

Sick House

My bed and slippers pretty much sum up my last 48 hours.

Belle and I have caught some horrible flu bug.  That teamed with being nearly 29 weeks pregnant has not been fun!  That said I have worked out how to use Instagram properly, finally. I am kind of addicted :) Every cloud...
