That doesn't bode too well for the school run but waking up in the morning to this is quite magical.
Welcome to our cottage in the snow!
Somewhere down a lane...
Sits a very snowy cottage...
Come on in and take a look...
Belle's poor lost picnic table not long ago had children sitting on it eating icecreams...
Walk along and you will see...
An orchard that once bore fruit...
Paddling pools, children running around and pheasants wandering. Now it's oh so quiet...
UNTIL...
There were snowmen and igloo's to build...
First experiences and memories to be made
Childish games to be played...
Our wood stash may be starting to go down...
The changing seasons making their mark
...But that is a sign that we are staying warm and cosy and THAT alone is something to be very grateful for

what a lovely home you have, I love the way everything looks so lovely with a covering of snow - love your wood burner too!
ReplyDeleteAww. I love your house. It looks so cozy and inviting.
ReplyDeleteLooks magical!!! We were snowed in here and ended up having a really cozy weekend and the boys were quite reluctant to go back to school again today! I was a bit worried though as I had lots of contractions and false labour experiences, and to get to hospital would have been quite tricky in this weather, but baby seemed to get the picture and waited....
